In my free time, I have had a blast creating educational materials for the a local elementary school’s 3rd Grade Mission to Mars STEM outreach program, run by volunteers from Boulder’s aerospace community. Working with kids gives me a chance to get realtime, unfiltered feedback on my design hypotheses. It also gives me a chance to draw cool planets and spacemen.
